Home-cooked, healthy food, shared around the table.
We have recently welcomed a new nursery chef, who has lots of experience cooking in different settings, and at home for her own little one. Our new menu is being put together now. We want it to be the right mix of healthy, fun, home-cooked meals, and to meet all Department for Education (DfE) requirements. Once the children have tried lots of different foods and decided which ones make the cut, we will share the menu with you.
Mealtimes are a social time for all our children, even our babies, and we share them together. Children and adults sit at the tables together, sharing stories from home or chatting about the food. We encourage all our children to feed themselves, and there is always a finger food on offer for our little ones starting their eating journey.
