Our nursery
At Priory Oaks Day Nursery, children learn through play, curiosity and time outdoors.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and plan around what each child is interested in and ready to try next.
Our rooms are calm, homely and set out so children can choose what to do and reach what they need. Natural materials, open-ended resources and a steady routine help children feel safe, settle quickly and grow in confidence.
Children spend time outside every day. Digging, climbing, building and looking closely at the natural world build strength, coordination and a sense of wonder.
We watch how each child plays and use what we see to plan the next step. Staff join in, ask questions and give children time to work things out for themselves, so they become independent, capable learners.
We work closely with families and keep you up to date with your child’s day and progress. We share expertise with the schools and colleges of Atomix Educational Trust in Guisborough and across the Tees Valley.
